We believe that a business owner/homeowner/condominium unit owner should request their general contractor to identify the names and addresses of the subcontractors that perform construction services at their business or home. This way, a business/homeowner will have the opportunity to keep a record demonstrating who did the relevant work in the event that a construction problem manifests itself in the future. If possible, get a business card for each subcontractor and keep it with the construction file.
